You may choose a book that is Kg level that has English and Spanish versions. Preferably about Freinds, kindness, etc,,
1) Introduce the book, authors and provide a brief description of the book
2) Discuss How the book represents your students’ cultures/language backgrounds.
3) Explain why this book would be relevant to your unit of study
4) Drawing on Espinoza & Ascenzi-Moreno Chapters 3 – 5, share the instructional activities you would design for this book and how you would provide opportunities for your students to use their linguistic and cultural funds of knowledge .
