The purpose of Biblical Perspective Responses is to provide you with an opportunity to critically understand the meaning of the verse or text by researching the original meaning and the author’s intent. You may be asked to reflect upon Scripture, a Christian writing, or other materials.

• Do you agree with these main points? Why or why not? (You must substantiate your view with a supportive resource, i.e., commentary, writing, book.
• What do you think you should do, based on your response to this reflection?
• Describe how mentoring can transform lives to be more like Christ.
• Why might God want us to assume the role of a mentor/mentee?
• How is mentoring a biblical concept? How did Jesus mentor?
