Pick a topic that is related to any field of science, such as chemistry, physics, biology, or geology, and think of a question that you would like to find an answer to. For example, “Is global warming causing more earthquakes?” Or “What is the best treatment for my allergies?” Once you have selected your question, answer the following questions in an APA style essay.
To complete this Assignment:
1. Identify the science question you would like answered and why you chose that topic.
2. Locate two resources about the scientific topic that interests you:
a. one from a scientifically reputable resource and
b. another from a questionable resource.
3. Write a brief summary for both of these two articles and an explanation of the differences between the reliability of these resources.
4. What characteristics make one more scientifically valid than the other? What criteria did you use to make your determination? Be sure to indicate which resource is the scientifically reputable resource and which resource’s reliability is questionable.
