Write a fictional short story in any genre of your choosing, including the follow
elements:
-A creative title, not “Short Story” for example.
-Sensory language, including a detailed description of character and setting.
-A central character or protagonist, with specific features and flaws.
-A main conflict, whether it is resolved or not.
-At least three examples of dialogue or internal monologue.
-A logical end, whether a resolution or a “cliff-hanger.”
Additional guidelines:
-Use proper spelling and grammar, but feel free to be unconventional with your structure.
-Remember to “show, not tell” and avoid excessive plot summary and large leaps in time.
-Keep the point of view consistent. If you begin in first person, stay in first person.
