Source Balance And Citation Activity
Part 1
For this module, you read Chapter 3 of Kraus’ The Process of Research Writing. Create/Make Up a sentence that quotes any part of that chapter with a proper signal phrase and in-text citation. Hint: The PDF does have page numbers.
Part 2
Take the paragraph listed below and do the following:
• Underline or make red anything you consider to be the author’s voice
• Italicize or make blue anything you consider to be a source’s voice
• Bold or make purple anything that you think might be in-between, such as the author interpreting the source’s voice
