Business Ethics
The students will be required to meet with a top level manager, preferably the head of Human Resources department in a middle size or larger company. The students will ask a series of questions on the company’s ethical practices. Questions may include those relating to the development of ethical practices and/or code of conduct; how compliance is monitored at the company; and how infractions or deviations are handled at the company. Additionally the students will perform an online research (at least 3 sources) about the company’s ethical behavior/social responsibility and will submit a paper relating their findings to the subject material covered in the course. Cite all the sources in MLA or APA style; quote or paraphrase information from these sources that may be incorporated into a research paper.”
