Drug/Alcohol/Process Addiction Screening Instrument Analysis paper
Select one drug and/or alcohol or process addiction screening instrument commonly used in the assessment and diagnosis of substance related concerns. Students will analyze the instrument in each of the following areas:
1) statistical validity,
2) diagnostic applicability (i.e. does the instrument use language that lends itself towards a DSM diagnosis), and
3) multicultural applicability.
