Research methods
1. For this project, you will select a SINGLE nutrition-related topic of interest. It can be a topic we’ve covered in class that you would like to learn more about or a
nutrition-related disease/condition in which you are interested.
2. Find two articles on your topic . The databases that likely have scientific articles are Academic OneFile, Academic Search Premier and Proquest. The articles MUST be:
○ Retrieved from an academic database
○ Published within the last 5 years
○ Minimum of 3 pages
○ Peer-reviewed, scientific articles
3. Analyze your articles using the Article Evaluation Worksheet.
4. Download Article Evaluation Worksheet
5. and record the score for each article .
6. Develop the Bibliography using APA formatting.
Include electronic links to the FULL articles as well as the Article
Evaluation score for each. Please do NOT copy and paste article links from the database browser because the instructor will not be able to access the article. Please watch the three-minute video on the differences between DOI and URL e-links.
