Discussion Forum: Macrosociology & Microsociology
Introduction
Sociologists are interesting in understanding two levels of social life: structure interaction and social structure. As such, they employ two levels of analysis that we refer to as microsociology (used to examine social interaction) and macrosociology (used to examine social structure).

Explain why you think it is necessary to have both macrosociology and microsociology. If you were a sociologist, which level of sociology do you believe you would find most intriguing? Explain why.
