Lee Berger, the paleoanthropologist, recorded – from start to finish- the discovery, excavation and analysis, of what has been determined to be a new hominin species, Homo Naledi. In 2 pages summarize the discovery and significance of this discovery. Talk about the anatomical features of this new species, the nature of the site, and any unusual aspects of their culture. Why was this discovery so important to paleoanthropology as a whole?
