In a connected world, we are as intelligent as the sum of people we can effectively connect and collaborate with. Leadership in this age is about the power of leadership frameworks and processes that allow for effective collaborations. The current literature identifies several different models and approaches to collaboration and co-learning, from forming communities of practice through to formal, long-term collective impact projects. The aim of the team project is to undertake a critical journey to explore the role that leadership plays in healthy collaborations to create social impact. You will be required to assess the current model and approaches to collaborative leadership and identify possibilities for improvement.
The report will outline the strengths, opportunities, aspirations and results evident from the current model of collaboration and develop recommendations for approaches based on the literature and best practice to increase the effectiveness of collaborative leadership practices that create social impact.
The objectives are:
- To collect both quantitative and qualitative data about the health of a specific collaborative initiative for social impact and provide a critical analysis of how well the collaboration is working in terms of improving the well-being of the eco-system.
- To assess the contribution of effective leadership for healthy collaborations that create social
- To identify the capacity and competencies required to lead collaboration and social impact, by collecting stories from leaders from government, civil society and the corporate sectors working together on the collaborative social impact.
- To make recommendations about how you would develop the capacities and competencies based on the literature and best practice to increase the effectiveness of collaborative.
