1. Having chosen one of the five topics for research, download the literature search record table from the Week 3 Brightspace resources. Narrow down your topic in the way suggested in the module and conduct at least three different searches using the University Library search engine Summon, following the procedures discussed in class. Record your search details in the literature search record table and give 5 relevant references from your searches in a reference list. This table does NOT count towards your word limit.
2. Carry out a ‘spot the error’ exercise for thearticle notes tablesprovided in the week 3 Brightspace learning resources. The form to use in reporting the errors you spot can also be found in the week 3 learning resources. This asks you to a) identify the errors in the article notes tables and b) explain why you think they are incorrect.
3. Read the three versions of the same short literature review, written as part of a research proposal, provided in Brightspace.Analyse the reviews provided for you and mark each of them, using the marksheet you can download from the week 3 Brightspace learning resources, based on the following criteria:- Clarity of writing- Structure- Use of evidence- Referencing- Quality of conclusion
4. Briefly discuss (no more than 1000 words) at least 5 differentiators of high and low-quality research and explain why the quality of research is important for academic work and for business decision making. Use references to support your arguments, citing appropriately.
