The global coronavirus crisis has been lasting for almost one year. Apart from economic aspect of society that has been affected greatly, another issue has been brought forward globally as well, which is how feminism gets affected under the pandemic. This essay is a reflection on a suite of posters that I have created with my group. The theme of our poster suite is 2021 International Women’s Day (IWD), upcoming soon on 8th March. Every year has a different theme set for IWD and this year is ‘ChooseToChallenge’ (IWD, 2020). I will first critically reflect on what our group have done the suite and my personal reflection will also be included in this part. Then, I will discuss how
We searched the theme and come up with some initial ideas such as which colour tone we would like to use; what kind of essential elements we need to include for three posters; what kind of logo we would like to recreate for our posters… The initial drafts we had is made by one of our group members (image 1), based on our initial agreement of the bright colour scheme, as well as women of different sizes, races and careers. I presented on the seminar and get the feedback that draft 1&2 are better. The font we use should be discussed again as suggested by tutors.
