Introduction – (1/2 – 1 page) introducing topic, define variables (independent and dependent variables), don’t get into too many details, explain and give statistics on what the problem is
Review of Literature – Summarize articles on topic, some will be theoretical, but make sure most are empirical (actual data collected). Be detailed about articles, where they got data from and what were the results. Add the hypothesis (1-2) and the research questions (2-3) at the end of this section.
Methods Section: Outline who participants will be, what the assessments you will use, and statistics. NO ACTUAL DATA COLLECTION, MADE UP. Has to be one of the following studies: case study research, observation, correlational, experimental study. This is where informed consent and participant protection is discussed.
Results: fake data…cover mean, and standard deviation and results for the stats (p-value).
