PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT
This assignment will expose learners to the different approaches used in the teaching of science and how to correct children misconception about science.
ASSIGNMENT: (WRITTEN)
This assignment has 2 parts.
PART 1: 20 MARKS
You are required to write the theory on solubility and why solubility should be taught to preschool children.
Please ensure your assignment covers the following aspects:
- Introduction to teaching science to young children and why solubility should be taught to young children.
- The scientific facts on the concept of solubility (with literature support).
- Children misconception on solubility (with literature support).
PART 2: 40 MARKS
This part requires you develop THREE consecutive lesson plans based on content standard and learning standard of Science and Technology strand of National Standard-Based Preschool Curriculum (NSPC) 2017 as in the table below:

The lesson plan should clearly show how it can correct children misconception and achieve the learning outcome.

Essay should be on the Malaysian lesson plans based on content standard and learning standard of Science and Technology strand of National Standard-Based Preschool Curriculum (NSPC) 2017.
References and sources should be from a Malaysian/Asian prospective when possible.
