Scenario:
A registered nurse in the Adult Day Care facility is caring for three patients diagnosed with depression. Each patient has been prescribed a different antidepressant agent. One patient is on a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, the second patient is on a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and the third patient is on a tricyclic antidepressant. What must the nurse know in order to provide quality care?
