Background:
Workshop (2) in course CMII-04 described how ECR101 impacted end-item 111 in development and production (D & P) as shown at the top of page 2. The bottom of page 2 shows how the same end-item is impacted by the same change in O & M and how the documentation in O & M differs from D & P.
Page 3 compares an ECN for D & P with an FCN for O & M for ECR101. Page 4 defines the material costs for the physical items (for D & P). Page 4 also provides the cost standards for creating and revising documents. There are one hundred 111’s in-service (S/N 0001 through 0100) that are to be modified with this change. The production effectivity is to be S/N 0101.
Assignment:
(1) Compile the O & M nonrecurring costs for creating MCNs and Service Bulletin.
(2) Compile the delayed costs associated with this change for revising the manuals and converting MCNs into MCRs.
(3) Compile the costs for modifying one hundred end-item 111s in the field.
(4) What are the total O & M nonrecurring costs for modifying the in-service units?
(5) Make the appropriate entries in fields (2), (6), (8), (9) and (10) in the modification authorization form provided on page 5.
