Learning Activity #5: Character of Abraham Response
Read Genesis 12 and 22.
Write a one-page response to the events of Genesis 12:10-20 and examine whether or not Abraham should be viewed as a faithful servant of God.
Address the following questions in your response:
o Do the negative actions of a patriarch show you anything about the character of Abraham?
o Were his actions repeated by anyone else in the Old Testament?
o How does God react to these moments of unbelief and indiscretion, not only in Abraham’s life, but our also?
