This assignment is the initial step for the evidence-based practice project. Choose one of the topics developed for this project and identify an Evidence Based Practice model you might use as a guide. For this assignment, you will:
Provide a written statement of the clinical problem identified as the focus of the project.
Conduct a current literature search of at least 3 bibliographic data bases (e.g., Medline, CINAHL, PubMed I searched each database with the key words given) on this topic. Include with your written problem statement, a description of the search strategy, including search terms used.
Identify the number of references located and any mechanisms you used to sort through/select relevant literature from these databases.
-Recent and relevant references using APA format- you will only write a critique on 3 references in the body of the paper.
-The reference page will have a list of 8-10 references: Please pick 5 other peer reviewed articles from the articles I provided and add them to the reference page. There will be no information in the body of the paper regarding the additional 5 references

Based on your problem identification and literature search, you will conduct a review of the literature found for the purpose of transforming the “best evidence” into practice. Review and critique at least 3 studies from your literature search to support/substantiate your EBP project. Assess if the body of research in the area is scientifically sound, ample, and applicable to your population of interest. Determine if and how you would utilize/implement the research in the practice area. Identify potential barriers and facilitators to your EBP project. You will then be responsible for presenting your EBP project. More details will be placed on Canvas regarding the assignment and discussion in class for clarification and expectation of the work. Students must submit their paper to Canvas prior to presentations.
