Leading Organizational Change with HR Analytics.
This module allows us to bring together everything we have been learning in this course, particularly how it relates to leaders bringing about positive change in their organizations through the effective use of HR analytics.
Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Design a plan to implement HR analytics into an organization
- Present this plan in a recorded slide-based presentation
To achieve these objectives: read Cascio, Boudreau, and Fink (2019) – Ch. 12; and, write your final reflection paper on HR Simulation.
In a 5-page reflection paper in APA format, reflect on the following questions:
- 5 pages: Describe some of the highlights (and challenges) you experienced as an HR Manager in this simulation.
- 5 pages: Based on your experience in the simulation and the course materials, what do you think are the key success factors in HR management as it relates to data analytics and how decisions impact individual and firm performance?
- 5 pages: Building off the previous question, what did you learn about HR analytics from this simulation? What role did analytics play in your effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) as an HR Manager in the simulation?
- 5-1 page: What did you think about the HR simulation experience as a whole? What were its advantages and disadvantages as a learning tool?
- 5-1 page: Would you recommend using a simulation such as this in training in an organization? Why or why not? If you would, what, if anything, would you do differently in implementing the simulation?
