Instructions
Choose one disease of those listed. Invent a patient. You do not need all the patient data
but do include typical symptoms and diagnostic findings. You may include graphs or images. We will discuss an example case in class. Introduce the patient and describe the context of the case. Describe the history and results of any examinations performed. Justify your diagnosis. Suggest underlying causes, make a prognosis and suggest treatment. Ensure to relate clinical findings and treatment to the underlying pathophysiology.
Your essay should be 1000-1500 words long (excluding reference list). Cite your references in Harvard style (both in-text, and in a reference list at the end). Your work will be screened using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.

2. Write concisely, clearly and logically, with appropriate use of technical terms.
3. Explain the basics of a brain or muscle imaging technique or another diagnostic test.
4. Credit suitable primary and secondary sources using the Harvard referencing style.
5. Good spelling and grammar. Use continuous prose.
