For the essay I chose the film « Citizen Kane – Orson Welles (1941) ». To analyze the essay I will focus on the Theme: Non Linear narrative in a film. How is this narrative organized in the film (running backwards, creating a circle) Compare this organization to the standard linear. Is the story clear and comprehensible? What does this style of narration convey about the time? Is the passage of time and or perception of reality subjective or objective? This is also part of the work. All the work is based on this analysis since the lesson I am considering is called Cinema &Time.
