This assignment is designed to assess learning outcomes:
LO1: Identify, plan, research and write a major written project.
LO2: Apply appropriate research methods in the investigation of a business issue.
LO3: Identify and critically review relevant business concepts and theories from the available academic literature in relation to the topic chosen for the final dissertation.
LO4: Draw conclusions based on a critical analysis of evidence collected.
This assignment is an individual assignment.
This assignment requires you to write an 8,000 word original dissertation. Students will choose an appropriate and agreed academic area related to their programme of study, apply their independent learning skills to research this area in depth, and provide recommendations with relevance for practitioners or industry. It is expected that the dissertation will be based on secondary data only.

Word Count
The word count is 8,000 words
There will be a penalty of a deduction of 10% of the mark (after internal moderation) for work exceeding the word limit by 10% or more. The 10% deduction will also apply to work that falls short of the word limit by more than 10%.
The word limit includes quotations, but excludes the final reference list and appendices.
