BA6052 – Images for ‘Alternative Assessment’ (without using Software).
Instructions:
You do the same coursework as students with access to software (answering in the same way Parts A to D) but you substitute your personal selection from the images provided below and provide a commentary/explanation. Like students with access to software, you will be assessed on both the quality of your evidence and the quality of your explanations.
Please note:
i) Some of the images provided here constitute excellent evidence, some average evidence and some are poor or misleading evidence. You have to decide for yourself which is which when you select them.
- ii) Like most students, if you were part way through your coursework before ‘lockdown’ then you are most welcome to use your own print out up to and as far as you got. For example, if you had already done parts A and B before ‘lockdown’ you can then – without penalty – start using the images here from part C onwards. We will not expect costs or images to match exactly. If you do this then please indicate from which point you are using the images provided here when you submit (insert a short note saying ‘I am now using the images provided for the alternative coursework.’).
iii) You do not have to decide until submission whether to do the alternative or original versions (or a mixture). Whichever version you finally opt for – you can still submit a draft copy to me (via ‘WebLearn’, ‘Online Submission’ and ‘Submit your Draft ….’) for comment prior to your actual submission. The draft submission area closes ONE WEEK prior to actual submission (26 May, 2020).
