Why international enterprises enter into the Chinese market with different entry modes? What’s the post-entry performance of different entry modes?
AIM: Considering the fact that China has already become the second largest economy in the whole world, more and more international enterprises choose to invest in China. However, China is a country with a large population and a very long history, entering into the Chinese market is not an easy task. Therefore, this paper aims to figure out why companies do bushiness in China with different entry modes and what’s the post-entry performance of each entry mode in the Chinese market.
Method:
As for the research methods, this paper will use qualitative method. To be more specific, case study is the main research strategy. By using case study analysis, this paper can compare different entry modes, such as exporting, franchise, licensing, as well as international joint venture in detail. However, compare to the quantitative data, the limitation of this paper is lacking large sample data.
