Students need to:
- Provide background to the topic they are researching (using relevant references to prior research on the topic), and
- Present the research aims and question(s) are. These should be very specific.
- Brief outline of the key methods (400 words) (12 of 30 marks)
Students need to:
- Explain the rationale for using the chosen method
- Describe how the method is appropriate to the topic, adequate and feasible
- Provide information on what is required of the study participants and who they are (what is the inclusion criteria?), step by step procedure to carry out the study, and include an analytic plan (how you plan to analyse your data)
- Feasibility within defined timeframe (200 words) (6 of 30 marks)
Students need to:
- Explain how the research is feasible within a defined timeframe (you need to define the timeframe)
- Describe any challenges can you foresee and how can they be mitigated through your design?
- Significance of the project (200 words) (6 of 30 marks)
Students need to answer to the following questions while writing the significance of their projects:
- What is the value of you proposed research project?
- Why do you have to conduct this research?
- How can the findings of the research benefit society?
