Compare and contrast the roles and social status of women in ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Please Note: To develop a thesis based on your comparison, I suggest you consider which civilization’s women either had the most amount of freedom/rights (equality with men) or the least amount of freedoms/rights (equality with men). Also, keep in mind that most lower class men had relatively little political or social rights.
