My professor has asked me to write a book report. He’d like me to summarize the book as well as answer 3 specific questions. He gave us four books to choose from.
1) How is Africa represented within the book? What images, ideas, beliefs, and attitudes about African society are expressed?
2) How are gender relations described in the book? What do you perceive of women’s and men’s roles and/ or status?
3) How is the impact of colonialism or post colonialism on African society described within the story?
