Pick a person or movement that fits into the time period of HIST 1301 – U.S. History to 1877.
Write a two-page typed paper on the Social and Personal Responsibility of the person/or persons involved in the movement.
Include a section in their paper discussing the social and personal responsibility of the individuals involved. Use primary and secondary sources for their paper.
Review the rubric for information on how this will be graded. Example: Harriet Tubman’s decision to help runaway slaves, what are the consequences of her actions. What personal responsibility does she have and how does it influence those around her.
