In 4 double-spaced pages write a reflection on how a social problem that you are interested in can be analyzed using a concept that you learned in class. Feel free to organize your writing in the following order:
– Identify a social problem (Try to mention why you consider that a ‘social problem’ referring to the sociological criteria discussed in class)
– Choose a concept discussed in the readings that you consider relevant to the social problem you are interested in studying.
– Make a brief description of your chosen concept and try to reflect briefly on why you think that concept would be useful to write your reflection.
– Express your research question and write, on max. 3 pages, a sociological answer to it. Develop and identify your argument within the text.
– Feel free to refer and cite any number of newspaper articles, journal articles and books.
