Assignment guidelines:
- You are required to write a critical literature review, including the relevance and applicability of contemporary leadership theories, of the leadership factors that will affect the decisions of the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing in the Lenovo Case Study.
- The review should conclude with a reflective statement that covers your thoughts regarding similarities / differences between the case of Lenovo and your organization.
- In order to successfully complete this assignment, your will need to provide critical reflections on, in light of your wider academic reading, the opportunities and challenges that leaders face (both now and in the future).
- Answer the specifics of the task as the marking from the lecturer will be tough and critical literature review will be expected as this is an MBA Masters level assignment.
- Discuss the task with good illustrative examples and diagrams and referencing of journals and books.
- Directness in approach and good structure.
- Logical argument, logical narrative and logical progression.
- Quality of what you write in the LITERATURE REVIEW is very important.
- Just answer what is asked in the assignment and address the task i.e. you are required to write a critical literature review and the review should conclude with a reflective statement that covers your thoughts regarding similarities / differences between the case of Lenovo and your organization.
- Do not give just a general nature of the analysis as it will make the overall argument less convincing than it could have been.
- Do not just copy from the given Lenovo Case study as it will not address the problem identified and will otherwise make the argument in the Literature Review being a little too general.
