- Create an agenda for the Project.
- Write a summary of the group project including with answering the question. What are the 3-4 major things that your team learned from the Project?
Each team should create a fictitious consulting company to work on this project.
The team objective is to analyze an organization to explore its management practices and issues from two areas. The team will conduct research on the area to identify best practices to base their recommendations for improvements to the Company.
The assigned organization will be a large organization (profit or non-profit). Conduct your search using online resources.
You may use the company Website, financial records, annual reports, interviews of management and other public sources to gather the information for your report.
You must also conduct research to identify the suggestions (Column 2) using 4-5 scholarly sources in addition to the Organization’s web site.
Area 1
- What are issues involved in managing a diverse workforce and conduct necessary research to address these issues? (Describe the diversity in the Organization) what you learned about what the organization is currently doing?
- What suggestions would the team make to address these? What recommendations would you suggest to help the Organization? Be sure to cite your references in your paper as to the source of your ideas. Share whether you did or plan to share your recommendations to the Company and what their reaction was if you did do this.
Area 2
- What are examples of how the organization does planning, organizing & control processes? what you learned about what the organization is currently doing?
- What suggestions would the team make to improve what the company is currently doing? What recommendations would you suggest to help the Organization? Be sure to cite your references in your paper as to the source of your ideas. Share whether you did or plan to share your recommendations to the Company and what their reaction was if you did do this.

- Team Introduction and roles of each member
- Overview: Agenda
- Organization: Brief background – history, operations, products and services
- Who you interviewed: Name and contact information (If applicable)
- What are the two areas (Column 1) that your team addressed and what you learned about what the organization is currently doing?
- What recommendations in each area would you suggest to help the Organization? Be sure to cite your references in your paper as to the source of your ideas.
