Question: Is Afro Caribbean diet a contributing factor for the development of type 2 diabetes in Grenada West Indies?
Aim:1.To investigate the dietary intake of Afro Caribbean men and women in Grenada that increases their risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
2.To critically review relevant literature on how dietary intake of Afro Caribbean men and women in Grenada can predispose them to type 2 diabetes.
3.To provide recommendation regarding diet modification to help reduce the incidence of men and women in Grenada developing type 2 diabetes.
Objectives
1.search databases for inclusion and exclusion criteria to meet the aim of the study.
