For this case study you will be analysing the leadership and management practices of the service in your area. For this case study you will need to:
• Describe the context of the service:
o Examine the governance structure, staffing roles, utilisation and the layout of the setting.
• Analyse the current conceptualisation of leadership in the service:
o Examine the current theories, models and styles of leadership being utilised in the service.
o Critique the management processes of the service e.g. policies and procedures, financial, conflict, change management, continuous improvement, staff recruitment and retention.
• Discuss strategies for team building:
o Justify the attributes of a successful early childhood services team.
o Provide examples of how staff in the service demonstrate these attributes in everyday practice in the workplace.
o Justify three (3) processes that effective leaders use to sustain success of the team.
