Part 1
Develop one commentary that supports your side of your issue. This may include an interview (email, phone, in-person, published online) dialogue with someone who is a professional in a relevant field or someone who may have a relevant opinion regarding your issue. You may also choose to write a 3rd person commentary role playing as someone who has a professional and/or relevant opinion on your issue. The 3rd person commentary option will require two references (can be the same as you have used in prior assignments) and proper in-text citations with a full reference page. The purpose of this section is to see your issue from a unique perspective. This section can contain more than two sentences of quoted material given the purpose and approach. This question should include a minimum of 400 specific, meaningful words.
Part 2
Write an overview, summary of your issue. Why is it relevant? Include important background information so someone not familiar with your issue can understand and discuss the issue. Generally, there shouldn’t be direct quotes used in the summary. If you are doing the project with a partner, this summary should be the same as your partner as it should contain an overview of both sides through collaboration. Both students still need to submit this question Include two references (can be previously used) in your writing. This question should include a minimum of 300 specific, meaningful words, which may be pared down for use in your project.
