This is for my Philosophy Class… The problem of induction presents scientists (and everyone, actually!) with the epistemologically problematic notion that just because something happened consistently in the past does not mean it will necessarily happen in the future.
In your own words explain the reasoning behind the problem of induction and why it is a problem. What does this mean for theories, laws, and predictions?
