Is there a relationship between the level of harassment experienced by White American and African American youths who are involved in crimes and the attitudes of judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers and probation officers? Hypothesis???

Research Questions

1. How do social factors/ perceptions/ social contexts influence interactions and decision making in the juvenile judicial system?
2. Do younger African American youths (less than 14 years old) and older African American youths (14 years old and above) who are involved in crimes differ in the level of harassment they experienced in the juvenile justice system?
3. Do male African American youths and female African American youths who are involved in crimes differ in the level of treatment they experienced in the judicial system?
4. Is there a relationship between the level of harassment experienced by White American and African American youths who are involved in crimes and the attitudes of judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers and probation officers?
